The K-12 Education Program is designed to educate students about animals, their care and the importance of animals in society. The program is divided into age-appropriate modules designed to build as students progress. The program aims to teach practical skills and also to instill empathy and understanding. We feel that going into classrooms is the best way to reach out.

Having children I understand the importance of education. It is important to me that my kids are gentle with our pets and compassionate toward all living things. That's why I am so excited about being the K-12 Education Program Coordinator. I want to bring my passion for compassionate care to all the students in Marion County so we can be sure the future is bright for all our four-legged friends.
