Working to help control animal population

Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) is a compassionate and effective method for managing feral and stray cat populations. By humanely trapping these animals, sterilizing them to prevent further reproduction, and then returning them to their original environment, communities can reduce overpopulation without resorting to euthanasia or displacement. TNR is the only humane way to control animal population, as it not only stabilizes colony numbers but also improves the health and behavior of the cats involved. Over time, TNR programs lead to fewer births, less fighting, and a more peaceful coexistence between animals and humans.

Abby

I have personally been active in TNR for years. I have managed colonies of cats successfully and know first-hand how important it is to stop the uncontrolled explosion of homeless cats. That is why I am excited to bring this program to the citizens of Marion County. Together we can make a huge difference for the future.
